Budarick was recruited from the Nightcliff Football Club in the NTFL, where he was a premiership player in the 2018/19 season. Originally from Katherine in the Northern Territory, he first played for the Katherine Camels in the Big Rivers Football League before representing the Big River Hawks in the Under 18 NTFL division. The clever small forward/midfielder has impressive speed and agility that makes him a danger around goals.
