Hannath joined NT Thunder in 2019 from the Central Districts Football Club in the SANFL. After playing all 18 NEAFL games he impressively went on to finish third in the 2019 Club Champions Ilett Medal count. Hannath was in pre-season training with the Melbourne Football Club in Darwin when he was drafted by Fremantle with the 8th selection at the 2012 Pre-season Draft. He went on to play 20 games over four seasons with the Dockers before returning to Central Districts. Since joining Thunder training in January, Hannath has made a major impact due to his high work rate and willingness to assist with the development of younger players.
