Inaugural NT Thunder player, three-time Premiership player and NT Thunder Team of the Decade captain, Cameron Ilett has retired from NEAFL football.
This full time role is responsible for the coaching and management of players in the NEAFL team to ensure consistent performances.

Abraham Ankers and Angela Foley have won the top honours at this year’s NT Thunder Club Champions Awards being presented in front of 200 people in Darwin on Friday night.
In front of more than 200 people in Darwin tonight, the best of NT Thunder’s senior, Academy and others were rewarded.
Andrew Hodges will remain as NT Thunder Head Coach after AFLNT CEO Stuart Totham used his address at the Club Champion presentation to announce that Hodges had been signed for a further two years.
Abraham Ankers and Cameron Ilett were named in the NEAFL Team of the Year while exciting forward Liam Patrick was awarded Mark of the Year.
“We’ve got to be better going forward in our recruitment and making sure that we improve and get better as well,” he said.
Talent only gets you so far, you must have an equal amount of hard work to fully reach your potential.
“We have plenty of junior talent in the team with nothing to lose so they will be out to show their wares,” Hodges said.
“I’ve honestly never seen a debut like that at Thunder level,” Tambling said.
