NT Thunder is excited to announce the re-signing of Palmerston midfielder Sam Talbot for season 2018.

The 28-year old played 17 games in 2017 to take his Thunder games tally to 32, which leaves him on track for his 50th game in 2018 with all things going to plan.

NT Thunder Head Coach Andrew Hodges said Talbot had earned the nickname of ‘Mr Versatile’ after been a familiar face around the Club with a sense of determination that is to be admired.

“I’m delighted to have ‘Talbs’ sign on for 2018, he is a popular member of the playing group and, as a 2015 Premiership Player has the experience and leadership qualities to back it up.

“It will be Sam’s fourth season with the Club, and he continues to be an important part of our engine room,” Hodges said.
