NT Thunder Football Club and St Mary’s Football Club are aware Francis Kinthari appeared in the Darwin Local Court on Thursday 22 February 2018 in relation to charges from a community incident in Wadeye.

He has currently been released on bail, to appear again next week.

St Mary’s Football Club said Kinthari is available to play this weekend as it is their view the best support for him is to remain in a positive football environment.

NT Thunder Football Club is working with St Mary’s to keep Kinthari engaged in both programs and will not make a decision on his NEAFL commitments until his NTFL season has concluded and the natural course of justice is known.
