Dual NT Thunder premiership player in seasons 2011 and 2015, Rioli was given captaincy honours for NT Thunder from season 2016 on. He was named a senior QAFL/NEAFL team representative in 2014 and a NEAFL Under 22 team representative in 2013. The older of two Rioli brothers playing for NT Thunder, he was named on the wing of NT Thunder’s Team of the Decade. His fancy footwork and flair around the contest has made him a crowd favourite.
