Shannon Rioli comes off an impressive season in 2017, in which he played 16 games and kicked 11 goals. 2018 will be the third year Rioli is NT Thunder captain, a position he relishes. Rioli was named a senior QAFL/NEAFL team representative in 2014 and a NEAFL Under 22 team representative in 2013, today the fan favourite continues to stun crowds with his fancy footwork and flair around the contest. A dual premiership player with Thunder, he reached 100 games for the NT Thunder in 2017 becoming one of only a handful of NEAFL players to reach this milestone, becoming a great of the club and the competition.
