Player Bio

After becoming the youngest player to debut for NT Thunder at 15 years of age in 2016, Michael Mummery will look to play consistently for the Club after his 2017 season was hampered due to illness and injury. The young talented prospect is a member of the AFL Academy and received the 2016 Thunder Rookie of the Year and McAdam Medal for his performance in the Under 16 National Championships for the Northern Territory. In early 2016, Mummery represented the Australian School Boys team who travelled to South Africa, where he was named best on ground before finishing as the leading goal kicker in the NTFL Under 16s Division 1 competition.
