After some time away from NT Thunder, Damian Williams has joined back with the club mid-way through the 2019 season. Williams, who plays for the Darwin Buffaloes in the NTFL has always been regarded as a talented prospect, joining Greater Western Sydney as a scholarship player in 2010.  He went on to play 10 games in the TAC Cup for GWS before their inception into the AFL in 2012. A Katherine native and a versatile speedster, Williams was also part of the team in 2017 and 2012.
