NT Thunder has secured the services of Katherine-based duo, Kayle Kossack and Daniel Turner ahead of the 2017 NEAFL season.

It will be 22-year-old Kossack’s fourth season on the Thunder list as he looks to build on the nine games he has played for the Club so far.

With 53 NTFL Premier League games for Nightcliff to his name, Kossack has been in impressive form of late.

NT Thunder Head Coach Andrew Hodges said he was pleased to secure the services of another young Territorian.

“Kayle has an uncanny ability to win possession in any situation, and he is a player who adds another dimension to our side.”

Turner, who turned 20-years-old today, will play his first season for the senior Territory side this year.

He was a member of the AFLNT State Academy Under 18 team in 2015 and played his junior footy with the Big River Hawks.

In NTFL season 2015/16 he made the switch to Southern Districts and has since played 29 Premier League games.

Hodges described Turner as an exciting prospect for NT Thunder.

“Dan is another player who has graduated from the State Academy program.

“He is a very quick outside mid, evasive and loves to take the game on. He will bring youth and enthusiasm to the team,” Hodges said.
