NT Thunder is delighted to announce the signing of big man Jack Monigatti to its NEAFL squad for season 2018.
The 20-year-old ruckman has played eight games in the last two seasons for the Tiwi Bombers in the NTFL including four games in 2016-17, and currently sits on four games in season 2017-18 as they push towards finals.
A product of the powerhouse Echuca Football Club in the Goulburn Valley Football League in Victoria, he has also played for the Tongala Football & Netball Club Inc in the Murray Football League.
NT Thunder Head Coach Andrew Hodges was pleased Monigatti relocated to Darwin at the start of this year, and said he is known for being very athletic with a good leap and strong contested mark.
“Jack’s a strong bodied tall who’s very mobile and competes in the ruck but also has the ability to move around the ground and get involved in the play which really excites me.
“He will be a great asset to our team as he can play that key position but also line up in the forward or back line,” he said.
