NT Thunder’s forward stocks for 2018 have received a further boost with big man Hugo Drogemuller committing to the Club.

On top of his 15 games and 13 goals, Drogemuller impressed in his first season with Thunder with his aerial work at contests and in his ability to cover the ground.

He finished the year inside the Club Champion top 10 and became an instant fan favourite and a footy commentator’s dream call.

A vocal player around the group, NT Thunder Head Coach Andrew Hodges said he was pleased to have the soon-to-be 25-year-old back in Territory colours.

“Hugo showed a lot of potential last season, and at 196 centimetres he troubled more than a few opposition backmen.

“His leadership on and off the field, along with the standard he sets at training will be an integral part of growing and developing our young squad.

“So far this NTFL season he has shown great form in his games playing for Wanderers, and I believe he can be one of the elite forwards, not only in the NT but across the NEAFL as well.”
