NT Thunder is pleased to announce another signing for its 2018 campaign, with 22-year-old exciting talent Tom Davies putting pen to paper.

Davies played 18 games in his first season for Thunder in 2017 and was awarded the Most Professional Award at season’s end.

A quiet achiever, Davies was a vital part of Thunder’s defensive unit regularly beating more highly rated players after joining the Club from the Palmerston Magpies in the NTFL where he won the 2016/17 club best and fairest.

NT Thunder Head Coach Andrew Hodges said Davies was outstanding in 2017 and to have his signing was essential to help continue the momentum the club had with the playing group.

“Obviously to have someone of Tommy’s calibre recommit to Thunder in 2018 is really important in giving us stability down back and is a good move for the future of our Club.

“He’s a hard-working defender that is very good at taking intercept marks and makes good decisions,” Hodges said.
