Tabitha May is set to make her senior debut when the NT Thunder Women’s (Thunder W) team heads back to Melbourne this weekend to take on the Southern Saints in Round 7 VFL W action.
This weekend the ThunderW travel to the Melbourne suburb of Frankton to take on the Southern Saints for Round 7 on a ground just a stone’s throw from the beach.
Joe Anderson, Patrick Boles and Tylah Saunders all require assessment post Round 11 and in the women’s Lateesha Jeffery is no longer on the injury list, taken her place is Sue Nalder.
Coach Tim Weatherald was pleased with the win, particularly because of the way his charges responded to the challenging conditions.
Amy Chittick, Courtney Cramey, Kristy Irvine, Jenna McCormick, Lauren Motlop and Katie Streader will make their debut for ThunderW this weekend against Carlton in Melbourne.
NT Thunder travels to the northern Melbourne suburb of Craigieburn this weekend to try and ram home its undefeated start to the season against Carlton in Round 6 of the VFL W.
Cameron Glover is the only player to join the list this week with a one week leg injury while for the women’s Lateesha Jeffrey is still the sole player on their injury list.
No new additions to the VFL Women’s injury list however there are a few of the NEAFL players require assessment after Saturday’s clash.
The Crows have retained its core AFLW talent, with a further eight current NT Thunder VFL W players – including NT-product and Thunder vice-captain Sally Riley – signing on for 2019.
