NT Thunder wishes to advise it is working with the Glenelg Football Club to transfer contracted players Neil Vea Vea and Daniel Weetra.

Vea Vea and Weetra wish to pursue opportunities away from NEAFL in 2018, and the Club is helping facilitate that and wishes both players the best of luck and thanks them for their contribution over the last few years.

NT Thunder exists to provide a pathway for talented Territorians to play Australian Football at the highest level possible while being able to live, work or study at home surrounded by family.

Head Coach Andrew Hodges said the Club and NEAFL has a proud history of developing players to get to the next level.

“We will continue to provide the pathway to young, aspiring footballers to reach their full potential.

“With the players that we’ve retained and the new players who are showing up to training and indicating interest in joining Thunder, I have no doubt that we will have a committed and dedicated group in 2018,” Hodges said.
